Our tours

Alpina Vista offers guided e-bike tours in the Salzburg region, in Tennengau (south of Salzburg): the Bluntausee Scenic Tour for a relaxed lakeside and nature experience, and the Trattberg Panorama Tour for a scenic, more challenging mountain ride. Every tour is private and can be tailored to you.

The tours range from easy to challenging. The Bluntausee Scenic Tour is easy, with 35 km (22 mi) and 250 metres of elevation gain (820 ft), and also suits beginners and families with appropriate cycling experience. Trattberg is challenging, with 40 km (25 mi) and 954 metres of elevation gain (3,130 ft), and is the most demanding panoramic tour. I adapt the pace and distance to suit you.

The guided tour costs €99 per person with your own e-bike or €178 per person with a rental e-bike from Michi's Radladen. For two people, that's €198 with your own e-bikes or €356 with two rental e-bikes. The price includes the personally guided tour, route planning, a pre-ride briefing and my company throughout the tour.

You don't need to be an experienced mountain biker. If you can ride a bike confidently, you'll usually get used to an e-bike quickly. Before we set off, I'll take the time to show you how the assistance, gears and brakes work. Then we'll ride together, and I'll adjust the pace to your experience.

It depends on your chosen tour. A normal level of everyday fitness is enough for the Bluntausee Scenic Tour. The Trattberg Panorama Tour is more challenging, and you should be comfortable being active for several hours. The e-bike helps you on the climbs, and of course we make time for breaks.

Both tours take around 4 hours: Bluntausee 4 h / 35 km (22 mi) / 250 m elevation gain (820 ft), Trattberg 4 h / 40 km (25 mi) / 954 m elevation gain (3,130 ft). Everything can be shortened or extended to suit you.

Both tours offer the option of stopping at an alpine farm or mountain hut — on Trattberg, for example, at Trattberg-Alm. Food and drinks are not included in the tour price.

We'll reschedule the tour free of charge to a day of your choice. If it's only raining lightly and you have suitable equipment, we often ride anyway; the Salzburg region is spectacular even in the mist. You decide.

Yes, that's central to how I work. Before the tour, we'll discuss your preferred route, breaks, refreshment stops and photo stops on WhatsApp or by phone. On the day, I'll adapt the pace and distance to your fitness.
