The route
We start at Michi's Radladen in Kuchl, in Tennengau (south of Salzburg), and ride at an easy pace towards Golling and on into Bluntau Valley. We don't simply take the most direct route to the lake.
Along the way, I'll show you some of my favourite little places that visitors can easily miss. We enjoy lovely views across Salzach Valley, ride along quiet trails and meadows and, with a bit of luck, meet cows and horses too.
The further we ride into Bluntau Valley, the quieter it becomes. Forests, clear water and the steep rock faces around us make the journey to Bluntausee an experience in itself.
Once we reach the lake, we park the e-bikes for a while. Depending on the light, the water shimmers from emerald green to turquoise, reflecting the surrounding mountains. Here we make time for photos, a break and simply enjoying the scenery.
That's what makes this tour special to me: you're not just following a route on your phone. You're discovering little places, views and stories that tend to be known by people who spend time in this region regularly.

The Bluntausee Scenic Tour is particularly suited to e-bike beginners, families and anyone who wants to get to know the Salzburg region at a relaxed pace, no racing, no pressure.
You should be confident riding a bike. I'll adapt the pace and breaks to suit you.
